Graphic Designing is one of the most important thing that we have to do whether it’s 2020 or any other year, right?

With changing times and with every single thing changing around us, we have new trends everyday, some accidental and some experimental.

Here are some of the trends being followed in the year 2020 in graphic designing :

1. 3D and a realist Designing

3D images, movies or anything has been in trend since always but since 2019 the trend grew and people are psyched about it.

All thanks to the modern technology and the software that are used to create such images and effects.

And to be more creative with what they do, they will combine it with realities and 2D images.

2. Monochromatic Designing

We have witnessed a monochromatic color effect being used by graphic and web designers a lot of times.

The duo tone effect from 2017 is back but with a more simplified and advanced version of it.

3. The metallic effect

People have always adored the metallic surface. Designs on a good shiny surface always attract customers and always will.

This trend requires minimalist design because the effect completely falls on the metallic surface.

The most used color is gold because it conveys luxury, class and a good taste.

4. Type, type, typography!

Designers are now playing with the typography effect of everything. This is a trend we have always flourished and we will always flourish.

With more creativity in hand of our designers, they are using geometric shapes, patterns and other creative elements to make the content look more strong and appealing to readers.

Artistic typography will really stand out in 2020.

5. Line Art Designing

The trend of outline typography and elements which have been quite mass during 2018 and 2019 is now evolving into fully illustrated and animated line art patterns and designs.

In its essence, line art is a schematic, simplified illustration style. As such, it is great for conveying concepts and ideas.

It looks clean, elegant, and unobtrusive. Line art is one of the preferred decoration styles in graphic design trends 2020.

6. Illustrations

Using illustrations is not a new thing, not in the past and not now. Illustrations are something that keeps people engaged with you and viewers find it very interesting to see illustrations.

Designers create illustrations that convey messages directly to the viewer and clear the concept of the site is about.

7. Isometric Illustration Designing

Isometric illustrations have been in the listing of trends for many years, and logically, they have gone through many transformations.

Often used for info graphic design, web design, and presentation design, they are a preferred style because of their capability to illustrate a 3-dimensional object on a 2-dimensional surface.

8. Patterns and textures

We took patterns and textures out of the picture at a point but they have been still in use from a long time. People haven’t been using them much but minimal use was always in effect.

Now, comes the year 2020 where patterns and textures are in the game again and the use has maximized again!

9. Geometrical shapes

Geometry has been our friend since forever and we adore art that is made using geometrical shapes.

Geometry is a great expression using blocks, triangles and other shapes are of utmost importance now that the shapes are in trend again!

Geometrical shapes are used by many of the graphic designers to give their work a bold look.

10. Liquids

Geometrical shapes are strict with their edges and curves but liquids are creative, agile and movable.

Leaving out on curves allows the designers to create a soft and smooth look to whatever they are designing.

Liquids are most definitely in the 2020 graphic trends but with much more creativity, effects and more innovation by our graphic designers.

In the end:

These are the 2020 trends that are being followed by much of the graphic designers nowadays and didb you notice? They all are very old.

Aren’t we all a little fond of old things now with growing technology and everything?
