Karnataka Floods- In August 2019, the western coast of India was lashed by heavy rains. Karnataka faced major damage and destruction. 7 lakh people in the state were displaced.
Cyclone Fani– Storm of the 2019 North Indian. Also the strongest tropical cyclone to hit the state of Odisha. 11 lakh people were evacuated from damaged area.
Kerala Floods– Incessant rains in the state caused flooding in many parts of Kerala. The highest numbers of people were dislocated. The total damage caused by these floods is yet to be estimated.
All of these Natural disasters forced business activity to be shut down in the respective states.
Man-Made Reasons
Protest-Businesses are affected by strikes in many different ways. Because of the protest and strikes, common people are not able to commute to their destination. Which forced business owners to shut their workplace.
